Jessica was born in Valdosta, and began her fitness journey and yoga practice in 1999. By 2002, she was teaching exercise classes, and then in 2004 she graduated from VSU with a degree in Exercise Science. Jessica went on to develop a career as a personal trainer, fitness instructor, and health coach. She completed a yoga teacher training in 2014, but did not plan to teach yoga. Jessica felt that attending yoga classes as a student was her escape from the hectic life of a fitness professional. One day she subbed a class for another yoga teacher, and instantly fell in love with sharing her passion for yoga with others. She believes teaching yoga is one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. She is married to a member of the Air Force, and has been exploring Europe while stationed in Germany with her family for the past several years. She and her husband have decided to retire in Valdosta, and have just returned to the area. Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and 12 year-old son and doing anything active outdoors. Her goal is to help all her participants become more in touch with their bodies, minds, and spirits through their own yoga practice. She cant wait to show yogis at Yoga Central what they are capable of accomplishing.
