Bharti Patel is a certified Yoga Instructor who has been practicing yoga for several years.She initially trained with SCW Fitness Education under Master trainer Lawrence Biscontini and received internationally recognized Yoga Fundamentals 1 and Yoga Fundamentals 2 specialty certifications.
After that she traveled to North India for her 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training (Multi Style) at the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains.She received full time intensive residential training for 6 weeks under the watchful guidance of the Master yoga trainer at the Himalayan Yoga Bliss and Wellness Centre.
During the course she received intensive training in Hatha Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama, Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow,Yoga Philosophy and Anatomy.
Her formal training as a Medical Doctor has added extra knowledge of human anatomy and physiology which allows for safe practice of yoga with emphasis on postural alignment.
After many years of medical practice she retired to follow her intense passion for yoga and body/mind holistic approach to health and well being.
She is CPR certified and also holds Fitness certification.
She also holds brown belt certificate from her several years of training in Seido Karate under a Japanese Samurai instructor from Okinawa.
